Over a year of inavtivity on this blog, I'm surprised it is still here.
Well I haven't done much myself recently but can recomment the prolific and talented Banana to lovers of comic verse.
Try this as an introduction, a story that will strike a chord with many parents of grown up, unattached children (and hopefull a few grown up children will take it on board too - ours in particular.

Hi Ian,
wondered if it would be OK to post about my new blog - called Share Your Poems Here - at http://poems-2-share.blog.co.uk
As the title suggests it is a place for people to come and post their own work - either poems or lyrics - no restriction on type of work, just have to accept that I will be reading them first before approving them and if I think they are offensive they won't go online.
I've started it off with the first subject I want submissions about - Freedom.
If you have one you'd like to submit I would be honoured to include it
